- 1 1/2 cups green beans (a good handful)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Fill a 2-quart pot with water and bring to a boil. While your pot is on the heat, prep the green beans. Take one bean and snap the stem end off. Bundle up the beans and use that bean as a cutting guide for all your vegetables. Mince the garlic. One the pot comes to a boil, add your green beans and boil for five minutes. The beans should be a vibrant green color and still crisp, not wilted.
In a small saute pan, add olive oil and bring to medium heat. Transfer the green beans to the pan and make sure to toss so the olive oil is covering all the vegetables. Add the garlic and salt and continue to toss for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot.
